NYBG Holiday Train Show 2020

For 29 years, adults and children alike have cherished the Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Gardens. It features miniature trains speeding through small replicas of major NYC landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty and the New York Public Library, which are made out of natural materials like tree bark, acorns, and resin.

The Train Show is normally open to the general public, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it is currently limited to Botanical Garden members. Members of the public who are unable to visit the show this year can experience it virtually, via the Bloomberg Connects app.

The Botanical Gardens have additional attractions. The conservatory, where the show is located, has multiple rooms full of cacti, orchids, and plants from around the world. The main grounds have many other things to see, including conifers and native plant displays.

The train show is open until January 31.
