Over the past year, Stanleys have been all the rage, coming in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. What’s not to love? Naturally, I got my hands on one as quickly as I could.
After careful consideration, for my first Stanley I purchased the 30 ounce cup in the color Pink Dust, pricing at $35. The Stanley itself is very light and easy to carry, water also stays relatively at the same temperature from when I initially poured it. Straws often encourage and allow me to drink more water as it is convenient, so naturally I finished my water pretty quickly. Although relatively convenient, for the price and the quality, there are definitely better options in the 30 ounce size that are of a better quality and marked at a similar price.
After having the 30 ounce Stanley for some time, I also purchased the 40 ounce Stanley in the Pink Dust color for $45. While a little more hefty, it features the same practical qualities as the 30 ounce. As it is in a larger size, you are getting more for your money. It maintains the same notable qualities as the 30 ounce, but this one is substantially better as it holds more water. For its price, this is one of the only water bottles of this size that has such great quality.
While there are competitors, this one, and maybe because of the publicity surrounding it, takes the cake. It includes all the fashionable ideals people want in water bottles, such as, the branding, the convenient sip straw, and the variety of colors.
Despite the fame Stanleys have received, there are many people out there who don’t enjoy it as it is not spill proof. However, the newer Stanleys have been upgraded so they spill less, but not completely. There are also items that you can buy online to put in the Stanley or onto the straw in order for it to not spill. Personally, I do find it annoying that it is not spill proof, but as long as you’re careful this problem rarely occurs
In general, I think that this is a great quality product that lives up to its marketing. If you can spare the extra money to spend on the 40 ounce, I definitely suggest investing in a Stanley to get the best experience out of your purchase!
